A heating mat installed behind the mirror effectively reduces fog and moisture on the mirror. The heating is activated when the lights in the mirror are on. This product can be added to all mirrors we manufacture. The defogger requires a 230v mains supply and must be installed by an electrician. It is only compatible with Connection Method 1 and Connection Method 4.
The smallest heating mat is 20x30 cm and the largest is 80x50 cm. We select the size of the heating mat based on the size of the mirror. The heating mat is always smaller than the mirror and is installed in the central area of the mirror, from where it radiates heat across the entire surface. The heating raises the mirror's temperature by 10–20 degrees. Installation is only for new mirrors purchased from us. The price includes installation.
